Father Bob returned back to East Coast this morning after having meeting with other Xaverian priests here in Chicago. From CTU Ignatius and I went home with Taimun and William, the Columban students by their car. After having lunch, Valery helped me drive a car on Highway, Lakeshore toward North. At 3 p.m. all of us went to a lecture about Saint Francis Xavier at Loyola University, given by Father Bob Schreiter, a professor of CTU. At 5.30 p.m. we went back home and had supper at home, Chinese food, bought by Father Rocco. I got an e-mail from my classmate at the philosophy study in Jakarta. He’s a diocesan student of Jakarta. He told me that he and the other two friends will be ordained deacons on April 21, 2006. He’s Antoro and Ary plus Kokoh. I’m very pleased to know this news and hopefully I can meet them during my vacation this summer 2006 in Indonesia. Probably, they will be ordained priest in August 2006.

This morning at 7.40, Atumisi accompanied me to drive the red car to St. Therese Chinatown. I served at 9.30 a.m. Mass (Father Aniello) and Atumisi at 8 a.m. Mass. I wsa teaching the confirmation program and this time two students did not come (Priscilla and Alex). At noon Martino with his Mercedes-Benz car picked me up to go to Trisila’s house at Algonquin, IL. We arrived there at 2 p.m. and at 4.30 p.m. we started the fellowhsip of PMKI (Ecumenical Group in Chicago). There were about 15 people attending this monthly gathering. I gave a reflection based on Matthew 13:44-46 (the hidden treasure) including the clap of Jesus and clap of “KASIH” beside my favorite game, the rope game that they enjoyed so much. At 6 p.m. we continued with supper and more guests came to celebrate Trisila’s birthday. At 8 p.m. Martion again took me home at Hyde Park. It’s my second time in my life going by Mercedes Benz, and the first time with the new one. Thanks be to God for this today’s experience meeting with many other denominations’ Indonesian friends in surrounding Chicago areas. Soon after arrived home I typed this journal.
